These Terms govern your use of the Genomic Analysis Engine platform at dnainfolab.org. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these Terms in full.

2. Service Description

DNA Info Lab is an informational tool that cross-references your uploaded DNA file with public scientific databases (GWAS Catalog, PharmGKB, ClinVar) and produces polygenic risk scores and AI-generated explanations. It is not a clinical diagnostic service, does not provide medical advice, and is not a regulated medical device.

3. Acceptable Use

By using the service, you agree to:

  • Not use the service for any unlawful purpose or upload third-party DNA without their explicit consent.
  • Provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure.
  • Not scrape, mass-download, or resell the scientific data we surface.
  • Not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the service.

4. Intellectual Property

  • The DNA Info Lab brand, design, and source code belong to the operator.
  • Your DNA data remains entirely your property. We process it under the terms of our Privacy Policy.
  • Scientific data (GWAS Catalog, PharmGKB, ClinVar, PubMed) is publicly licensed by its respective owners; we are not its author.

5. Data Processing

6. Disclaimers

  • The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • Results are informational estimates based on population-level research and do not predict personal outcomes.
  • This is not a clinical diagnostic test and does not replace professional medical advice.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any decisions made based on the information provided by this service, for service interruptions, or for data loss caused by force majeure. This does not limit any liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

8. Modifications and Applicable Law

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time; material changes will be notified in advance. These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
